Child Protection & Rights

Child Protection & Rights

Every child has the right to be safe, to learn and to grow. Poverty and social pressure still push many children in rural Bangladesh into early marriage or work.

DIA works with parents, schools, local leaders and the government child protection system to prevent child marriage, child labour, trafficking and abuse, and to make sure children at risk are referred to the right support.

What we do

  • Community awareness campaigns and courtyard meetings
  • Prevention of child marriage and suicide awareness
  • Engagement with schools and parents
  • Referral mechanisms for children at risk
  • Coordination with government child protection services

How you can help

Help us hold awareness campaigns and courtyard meetings in more communities.

Together, we can build an inclusive future where no one is left behind.
